Ministry of Social Affairs Encourages Children's Foster LKSA in Accordance with National Standards
PEKANBARU (October 24, 2019) - The Social Rehabilitation Center for Children who need Special Protection (BRSAMPK) Pekanbaru "Tassel" conducts activities to Strengthen the Child Welfare Institution that Needs Special Protection (AMPK) at the Grand Zuri Hotel in Pekanbaru, Riau Province. The purpose of this activity is that the Social Welfare Institution (LKS) can carry out childcare in accordance with Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs regulations Number 30 / HUK / 2019 on the National Childcare Standards for the Child Social Welfare Institution (LKSA).
Kanya Eka Santi, Director of Child Social Rehabilitation in her speech said, LKS is a partner of the Ministry of Social Affairs in handling children. We need to walk together to provide child protection so that children can be integrated and reunified with the family.
Kanya Eka Santi also gave a presentation related to PROGRESA and the management of the use of funds from the Aimed Aid (BANTU) provided by the Ministry of Social Affairs for children in LKS that have been registered. In addition, participants were also given an explanation of how the BANTU funds were disbursed by speakers from BNI Pekanbaru Branch Office.
The activity, which was carried out from 22-24 October 2019, was attended by 32 Participants from LKSA representatives and Social Workers Community Service Unit (Sakti Peksos) in Regencies / Cities in the working areas of Riau, Riau Islands, West Sumatra and Lampung Provinces.
