Ministry of Social Affairs Finalizes 2024 AKRS Preparations with Kogartap 1
JAKARTA (July 11, 2024) - Acting Director General of Empowerment of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, Beni Sujanto, chaired the Coordination Meeting for Implementation of the 2024 Celebration of Honor and Sacred Reflections (AKRS) at the IKN Memorial Park and Kalibata Main National Heroes Cemetery (TMPNU).
Furthermore, in implementing AKRS in 2024, Permanent Garrison Command 1 (Kogartap) and the Ministry of Social Affairs will place their respective teams in these 2 locations to oversee the smooth running of the event. The two teams will prepare AKRS activities from preparation, framework rehearsal, dirty rehearsal, and clean rehearsal, until the peak event on August 17 2024 at 00.00 WITA for IKN and August 17 2024 at 00.00 WIT.
In this activity, it is planned that the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, will be the Inspector of AKRS Ceremonies at the IKN Memorial Park, and the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ma'ruf Amin will be the Inspector of Ceremonies at TMPNU Kalibata, Jakarta.
The AKRS ceremony at TMPNU Kalibata Jakarta will be broadcast live by TVRI and streamed on the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs YouTube Channel. To make AKRS run smoothly, teamwork and support from various parties are needed, both at the IKN Memorial Park and at TMPNU Kalibata. Beni Sujanto explained.
On the occasion of the coordination meeting, Beni Sujanto and Kasgarap visited the Kalibata Main Heroes' Cemetery (TMPNU) cemetery area where the Sacred Contemplation Apple Ceremony will take place.
The Director of PSDS and the Director of Dayamas also accompanied the meeting. Representatives from Kasgartap I, PLN, Telkom, General Bureau, Pusdatin, TVRI, and other guests were also present.
