Ministry of Social Affairs Gives Compensation to Two Families of KKB Victims in West Java

Representing the Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini, Director of Social Protection for Victims of Social Disasters (PSKBS), Harapan Lumban Gaol visited the residence of the family of the KKB shooting victim on behalf of Billy Garibaldi in Bandung Regency, Friday (8/4), to hand over compensation to the heirs worth IDR15 million and food packages.

Meanwhile, on the next day (9/4), the Director General of Social Security, Pepen Nazaruddin also handed over compensation to the heirs worth IDR15 million and food packages for the families of the victims of the KKB shooting on behalf of Ibo in Subang Regency.

The distribution of this compensation is the government's response to the KKB shooting incident that killed 8 PTT Tower workers in Beoga District, Puncak Regency, Papua, last Wednesday (2/3).

To date, the Ministry of Social Affairs has distributed compensation to 4 heirs of the victims, 2 each in Jakarta and 2 in West Java. Furthermore, the Ministry of Social Affairs through the PSKBS Directorate will still distribute compensation to the beneficiary's families in Ambon and Papua.
