Ministry of Social Affairs Helds HKSN Plenary Meeting 2020

The meeting took place at the Aneka Bhakti Building and was held in an Offline and Online Virtual Zoom Meeting which was attended by all Heads of Fields and members of fields I, II, III, IV, Central and Regional Committees, as well as Ministry of Social Work Partners.

HKSN 2020 carries the theme "Social Solidarity Against Covid19". This theme is an invitation to all elements of society to move together to help each other in the midst of a pandemic.

The finalization plenary meeting was chaired by the Director General of Social Empowerment Edi Suharto. The plenary meeting discussed a number of materials related to a series of activities. Among others, the Social Restoration Webinar, KSN Virtual Exhibition, Social Solidarity Service, organizing social participation, and socializing social restoration campaigns.

Furthermore, the General Chairperson of the 2020 HKSN and the Heads of the Division reported on the preparation of activities and technical activities for the Summit to be held at the Mapalus Building, Manado City, North Sulawesi Province.

Director General of Social Empowerment Edi Suharto said that HKSN 2020 activities are divided into two online and offline activities.

"The main event starts on December 17, 2020 which is a webinar through a zoom meeting. The theme of the webinar is Examining Social Solidarity during the pandemic from the perspective of millennials. With the speaker, Minister of Social Affairs Ad Interim, historians, and the General Chairman of HKSN 2020," said Edi Suharto.

"On December 18, 2020, a rapid test will also be carried out for all residents in Tomohon City, Bansos Rutilahu, KUBE, Cataract Operations, provision of basic food packages, disabilities, mass circumcision, etc. The HKSN peak event will be held on December 19, 2020 at the building. Mapalus by implementing health protocols. As well as handing over the HKSN Pataka to the host of HKSN 2021 in Bangka Belitung Province. The General Chairperson of the HKSN 2020, Alfatih Timur explained that the concept of the HKSN 2020 promotion is a movement.

"We are telling some inspirational figures. We need to raise this figure and invite the public to spread it," explained Al Fatih.
