Ministry of Social Affairs Holds Inter-Professional Collaborative Social Rehabilitation Training
The Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia held Inter-Professional Collaborative Social Rehabilitation Training for Handling Children with Disabilities to support one of the main components or direct services in social rehabilitation.
In addition to improving abilities, this training is also to provide participants with understanding and experience regarding the roles and duties of various different professions, equip participants to be able to collaborate with multi-professions in handling children with disabilities, and increase the capacity of participants to practice therapy according to their profession/expertise. (occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiotherapy, and prosthetic orthotics).
This training took place from 6 June to 12 June 2023 in Surakarta, Central Java, and involved 104 participants. The participants consisted of 31 Heads of UPT Rehsos, 31 Social Workers, and 42 Therapists and Physiotherapists of the Ministry of Social Affairs.
