Ministry of Social Affairs Holds National Expedition to Mapia Islands
MAPIA (September 13, 2023) - The Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini, visited the "National Expedition" using KRI dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo 991 bound for Mapia Islands, West Supiori District, Supiori Regency, Papua.
During this visit, the Minister of Social Affairs provided assistance for agricultural empowerment, sports facilities, and infrastructure, support for health and education equipment, basic necessities, children's food, personal hygiene equipment, and biomass stoves on Mapia Island worth IDR 1.7 billion. Apart from that, assistance such as a Solar Home System, Solar Powered Public Street Lighting, Sea Water Reserve Osmosis, and assistance with laying hens were also provided to the people on the island.
Also, present at today's activity was the Chief of Staff of Koarmada III, Admiral TNI Singgih, Danlanal Biak, Marine Colonel Carlos R Deda, Head of Operations Section of Korem 173/PVB, Infantry Colonel Andi Amin Latama, Head of the Intelligence Section of Korem 173/PVB, Infantry Colonel Ivan Tarigan, Dansatgas Pamputer Lieutenant Marine Yusak (Marines), Danpos Task Force Pamputer, Ltda Infanteri Darwis, Main Expert Staff of the Presidential Staff Office, Abraham Wirotomo, Special Advisor to the Minister for Communications and Mass Media Don Rozano Sigit Prakoeswa, Special Advisor to the Minister for Human Resources and Program Development Ministry of Suhadi Lili. Furthermore, Special Advisor to the Minister for Social Welfare Service Requirements and Potential Sources of Social Welfare, Luhur Budijarso Lulu, Senior Advisor to the Minister for Social Welfare Technology, Asep Sasa Purnama, Senior Advisor to the Minister for Social Change and Dynamics, Edi Suharto, Senior Advisor to the Minister for Social Accessibility, Dadang Iskandar, the Acting Director General of Social Affairs, Beni Sujanto, and employee representatives within the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs.
