BEKASI (October 9th, 2019) - The Directorate of Social Rehabilitation for Children of Ministry of Social Affairs is holding human resource capacity building for Children in Conflict with the Law (ABH) Partner Institutions as a strategic step in realizing superior human resources in the management of the Social Protection and Rehabilitation System for Children in Conflict with Law (ABH).

“Strengthening human resource capacity become particular concern, in a line to increasing the quantity and quality of ABH problems. A quick, right and accurate response to the ABH case will be able to protect children, and minimize violations of children's rights," said Director General of Social Rehabilitation Edi Suharto when giving directions in human resource capacity building for Children in Conflict with the Law (ABH) Partner Institutions located in at the Amarossa Grande Hotel, Bekasi.

Furthermore, Edi Suharto said that efforts to protect, fulfill rights and welfare for Children in Conflict with the Law (ABH) in the Criminal Justice System for Children (SPPA) were carried out by implementing settlement-oriented mechanism through a restorative / recovery justice approach mandatory diversionary efforts in every stage of juvenile justice.

The activity which was held on October 8-11 was attended by representatives from officer / facilitator of the Social Protection House (RPS) / Social Protection and Rehabilitation Program for Children Dealing with Community-Based Law (PRSABHBM) / Institute of Social Welfare Management for Children in Conflict with the Law (LPKS ABH) of West Region and the Directorate of Social Rehabilitation of Children
