SUKABUMI (April 21, 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through the "Kahuripan" Center in Sukabumi in collaboration with the Nusa Tenggara Barat Provincial Social Office (NTB) carried out an Emergency Response to help return people with HIV/AIDS (ODHA) who were stranded in NTB.
The NTB Provincial Social Service is coordinating with the "Kahuripan" Center to help return Y, a neglected PLHIV who has been hospitalized for 10 days at the NTB Provincial Hospital to his family in Sumedang Regency, West Java.
The "Kahuripan" Center Emergency Response Team picked up at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, and carried out a brief assessment of Y's needs. Based on the results of the assessment, Y was subsequently reunified with his family in Ciptasari Village, Pamulihan District, Sumedang Regency.
Arriving at Ciptasari Village, the family together with local residents represented by the Head of the RW and Head of the RT were very grateful for the efforts of the "Kahuripan" Center and Nusa Tenggara Barat Provincial Social Office to bring Y home and reunite him with his family. They hoped that Y would recover soon and be able to take part in the Residential Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) Program at the "Kahuripan" Center.
