SUKABUMI (9 July 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through the Kahuripan Center in Sukabumi assisted for a Troubled Indonesian Migrant Worker (PMIB) who was repatriated to Sukabumi Regency.

Following the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini, all Technical Implementation Units (UPT) of the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia must respond quickly to the Persons Needing Social Welfare Services (PPKS) and the implementation of the Center in providing multifunctional services for all PPKS, one of which is related to PMIB problems.

The Head of Kahuripan Center, Sulistya Ariadhi assigned a team consisting of the Head of the Social Rehabilitation Sub-Section, Social Workers and Buddies to follow up on the results of the assessment related to identity creation for E who does not have an identity.

The team with E went to the Population and Civil Registration Office of Sukabumi Regency to coordinate with the Head of Population Registration Services to explain that E is a PMIB who does not have an identity and is currently receiving attention at the Center. Then E is directed to record identity to confirm whether E has a previous identity or not. As a result, E does not yet have an identity and is required to follow procedures to create a new identity.

There is a problem regarding the name of E's biological mother which is not known, because E is an adopted child from infancy, so that in the KK the mother's name is left blank and only the name of the biological father is filled. In addition, the temporary E address will be adjusted to the Center’s address according to the cover letter for identity creation.

Kahuripan Team will conduct a follow-up assessment to obtain more in-depth information regarding E, so that the services provided to E can be utilized properly and effectively.
