Ministry of Social Disaster Disaster Management Main Command Post Opens 24 Hours

The Ministry of Social Affairs established the Disaster Management Main Command Post as a logistical aid center for disaster victims in Indonesia, primarily in the handling of floods and landslides in Jakarta and surrounding areas. This post was established at the Ministry of Social Affairs' Office in Cawang Kencana, East Jakarta.

"This post is a center to ensure social assistance including logistics and equipment are ready to use at any time needed", said Minister of Social Affairs, Juliari P. Batubara when visiting the post, Friday (10/1). Social Minister explained in addition to being a logistics warehouse centralized in the field, there is a command service center and data center at this main post.
