YOGYAKARTA (4 November 2021) – The Ministry of Social Affairs together with the National CSR Forum (TJSLBU) harmonize joint steps to realize social welfare.

 

Director General of Social Empowerment Edi Suharto virtually opened the Social Service and National Deliberation (MUNAS) III CSR Forum for Social Welfare for the Period 2021 - 2026, which carried the theme 'Repositioning and Revitalization towards Harmonious Synergy' on Wednesday (3/11).

 

"This MUNAS must be part of our roadmap towards the formation and development of an ideal partnership model between the Government, Business Entities, and the Community, which we initiated together to make efforts to improve the social welfare of the community as a common goal and interest," explained Edi Suharto.

 

Director of Social Empowerment for Individual, Family, and Community Institutional Br. Karo, represented by the Head of the PDU Sub-Directorate, said that this activity was aimed at establishing the CSR Forum committee for the period 2021-2026; improving the professional culture of the CSR Forum management and synergy in strategic partnerships and collaborations; as well as strengthening professional commitment to the implementation of social welfare through optimizing the potential of CSR. This MUNAS activity was held for 4 days starting from 3-6 November 2021 at BBPPKS Regional III Yogyakarta.

 

Not only MUNAS, the CSR Forum together with KADIN and the Ministry of Social Affairs also held Social Service activities packaged in the form of a Vaccination and Food Distribution program for people in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY). The vaccination program was carried out for 4 days, namely 4-6 and 8 November 2021 with a target of 3,500 vaccine participants from several regencies/cities in the D.I.Y area in collaboration with the Health Center and the DIY Provincial Health Office.

 

Head of BBPPKS Regional III Yogyakarta Hotman accompanied by Head of Sub-Directorate of PDU Rinto Indratmoko representing the Ministry of Social Affairs gave a speech at the Social Service event held at BBPPKS III Yogyakarta. The opening of this Social Service was also attended by the Governor of DIY Province as the Trustee of the TJSLBU Forum, General Chairperson of the National and Provincial CSR Forum, Central and Yogyakarta KADIN, Head of Social Office, Head of Health Service, Representatives from Business Entities, and officials of the Ministry of Social Affairs.

 

This vaccination program provides Sinovac vaccines for people in the DIY region. After receiving the vaccine injection, each participant will receive basic food items collected from business entities that have contributed to the initiation of the TJSLBU Forum and KADIN with a total of 3,500 food packages.

The Social Service in the context of the Covid-19 Vaccination and distribution of necessities was supported by HM Sampoerna, Alfamart, PT. Asmin Bara Bronang, GOJEK, ASTRA International Tbk, Sari Husada, WIKA, PetroChina Jabung International Ltd, Heavendew, and CocaCola Europacific Partners, as well as involving the Social Pillars of IPSM and Youth Organizations DIY.

On the third day of the TJLSBU MUNAS III, members of the TJLSBU Forum will be invited to visit the Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Intellectual Disabilities 'Kartini' in Temanggung. Forum members will be introduced to the multi-services provided at Balai Temanggung as well as the ATENSI Social Rehabilitation program in the hope of being able to invite the business world to participate in the development of programs at the Social Rehabilitation Centers of the Ministry of Social Affairs.

The whole series of MUNAS activities are expected to increase the synergy and active contribution of business entities in helping to improve social welfare for the community.

This activity was attended by the administrators of the National CSR Forum, the Chair, and administrators of the Provincial CSR Forum, and Representatives of Business Entities.
