BURU (December 21, 2023) - The Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini visited the Cataract Surgery Social Service activity at the Buru Regency Regional General Hospital, Buru Island, Maluku Province.

This activity was carried out in collaboration with the Peduli Pundi Amal SCTV Foundation and the Indonesian Eye Doctors Association (Perdami) and was carried out in stages.

The number of registrants for cataract surgery reached 270 patients and more than 100 patients have undergone surgery.

Also present at this activity was The Acting Regent of Buru, Djalaludin Salampessy, Commander of the Namlea District Military District, Agus Nur Fujianto, Director of the Buru Regency Regional General Hospital, Helmi Koharjaya, Head of BNI Ambon Branch Office, Alexander Rosari Naping, Chief Executive of YPP SCTV Indosiar, Abbas Yahya, Special Advisor to the Minister for Field Affairs Communication and Mass Media, Don Rozano Sigit, Director for the Elderly, Supomo, Director of Remote Indigenous Communities, I Ketut Supena, Head of the Wasana Bahagia Center, Kamsiaty Rotty and all staff at the Ministry of Social Affairs.
