MoSA Distributes Aid for Children, Elderly, and Entrepreneurs in Pesawaran Regency

PESAWARAN (August 29, 2022) - Social Rehabilitation Assistance (Atensi) was one of the flagship programs of MoSA, especially in helping to achieve the social functioning of individuals, families, and communities. This time MoSA through "Handayani" Center in Jakarta provided ATENSI program to three Social Welfare Institutions (LKS) in Pesawaran Lampung Regency, including LKS Rehan Rahmatan Lil 'Alamin, LKS Kenari, and LKS Al-Jeepri.

 

The head of "Handayani" Center, Romal Sinaga stated that this community ATENSI program was given to the elderly, children, and entrepreneurs assisted by 3 LKS following the results of the assessment carried out by "Handayani" Center officers. "Do a comprehensive assessment, observe in depth what become their basic needs," said Romal to the assessment team.

 

It was known that as many as 518 people had been assessed. 2 PPKS (Social Welfare Service Recipients) assisted by LKS Rehab Rahmatan Lil 'Alamin received entrepreneurial assistance and 2 others received nutritional assistance. Meanwhile, 100 PPKS assisted by LKS Kenari including 50 children received assistance for school needs and nutrition, and 50 elderly received nutritional assistance.

 

Furthermore, as many as 414 elderlies from LKS Al-Jeepri received nutritional assistance and the fulfillment of a decent life. The total Community ATENSI program provided by "Handayani" Center to three LKS reached IDR 199,134,000.

 

Furthermore, "Handayani" Center will continue to coordinate with three LKS to monitor the use of ATENSI program for the 518 people.
