SURALAGA (July 29, 2022) - Still in the series of commemorating National Children's Day (HAN) 2022, the Ministry of Social Affairs through Dharma Guna Bengkulu Center provides Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) for 210 children with a total assistance of IDR 314,907,000 in Suralaga District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara.

 

The activity was carried out at the Embulan Boroq tourist attraction, located in Anjani Timur Dua Hamlet, Anjani Village, Suralaga District, East Lombok Regency, Saturday (30/7).

 

ATENSI services are distributed in the form of packages of school supplies (t-shirts, shoes, bags, books, markers, origami paper) and personal hygiene (toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, towels, dipper) as many as 175 pieces, Nutrition packages (milk, honey, vitamins C, green beans, biscuits) 210 pieces,

 

Then baby equipment packages (diapers, towels, shampoo, telon oil) as many as 17 pieces as well as educational games and prayer rug packages as many as 18 pieces.

 

In addition, room surgery was carried out for 2 children @ IDR 10 million were equipped with household equipment such as mattresses, pillows, bolsters, study tables, study lamps, light bulbs, carpets, plates, spoons, dispensers, school bags, fans, curtains, mirrors. , slippers, wardrobes, dish racks, bicycles for school, as well as prayer equipment and the Koran.

 

Head of the Bengkulu Dharma Guna Center Syam Wuryani said the ATENSI distribution activity was a series of 2022 National Children's Day, the culmination of which would be held in the courtyard of the East Lombok Regent's Office, West Nusa Tenggara on August 1, 2022.

 

Before the peak celebration, several ATENSI assistance activities were held in several sub-districts in East Lombok.

 

The assistance provided was in the form of health services such as eye examinations, provision of hearing aids, nutritional needs of children and babies, school supplies, and room surgery for 2 children on behalf of Azmi and Rachel.

 

"The state through MoSA is here to provide full protection by assisting with the needs of children, both love and others. I hope this is done not only for HAN but every day", she concluded.

 

The Head of Suralaga District, Nur Holil, appreciated the series of HAN 2022 activities carried out by MoSA, especially those carried out in his area.


"We are happy because our children are also happy. This activity is at the Embulan Boroq tourist attraction so that children can enjoy the fresh air. Thank you to MoSA for involving Suralaga District in the 2022 HAN activities and helping our community, especially children We need it," he said.


He also stated his commitment to realizing child-friendly areas, one of which was by issuing a village regulation related to the prohibition of child marriage.


"This village regulation has been implemented in 15 villages since September 2021. This early marriage can disturb the next generation because children born from early marriages are usually weak, sickly, and stunted," he said.


The activity of distributing ATENSI assistance in the framework of the 2022 HAN was enlivened by traditional dance performances from Sulamul Muhtadi Kindergarten.


In addition, there is also a place for children to play various games such as Snakes and Ladders, Engklek, Congklak, and Hulahop.


The children who were accompanied by their parents were also happy because they could swim in the Embulan Boroq bathing pool.


Lilian (10), one of the children from Suralaga District, said she was happy and excited because she received assistance in the form of bags and shoes.


She promised to study hard so her dream to become a doctor can be chased.


"Thank you Mr. President Jokowi, thank you Minister of Social Affairs. Lilian will study hard and become a doctor," she concluded.
