MoSA together with Commission VIII of DPR RI Handover ATENSI Aid in Cianjur Regency
CIANJUR (August 22, 2022) - MoSA together with the
Deputy Chair of Commission VIII of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR
RI) Diah Pitaloka, handed over Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) program
and buffer stock for Disaster Management logistics for the people of West Java.
Located at the Palace Hotel, Cianjur, Deputy Chairman of Commission VIII
DPR RI accompanied by the Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Pepen
Nazaruddin, handed over the aid symbolically. Assistance was managed by the Directorate
of Social Protection and Security and Inten Soeweno Integrated Center in Bogor,
in the form of 1,000 basic food packages for a total of IDR 160,000,000, and
Buffer stock for Disaster logistics with a total of IDR 378,477,160 and ATENSI
Aid of IDR 21,810. 000. The total amount of aid distributed in Cianjur Regency
is IDR 560,287,160
The handover of this assistance coincided with the Working Visit of the Commission
VIII DPR RI related to PKH HR technical guidance, capacity building of the
Social Pillars, and the Delivery of Social Assistance. The Social Rehabilitation
Assistance (ATENSI) program from Inten Soeweno Integrated Center was symbolically
handed over by the Deputy Chairperson of Commission VIII DPR RI for Persons
with Disabilities in the form of 5 wheelchairs for 5 PPKS (Social Welfare
Service Recipients).
Deputy Chairperson of Commission VIII DPR RI, Diah Pitaloka in her speech
said that PKH HR would mobilize all of us. "Let's join hands to strengthen
each other to help the underprivileged together with MoSA, Social Office, and
other parties," said Pepen.
The Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Pepen Nazaruddin, who
represented the Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini, said that
Commission VIII DPR RI as a working partner with MoSA must continue to
establish good cooperation. PKH HR should know the existence of social granaries
and make sure they are understood with the characteristics of problems in the
field. "In the future, the role of companions will be more integrated and
the presence of PKH human resources will be more strategic", said Pepen.
Syarif (48), a recipient of ATENSI aid in the form of a wheelchair,
thanked MoSA, this wheelchair assistance is very useful for daily activities
such as going to the mosque, attending routine recitations, and other activities.
