"Mulya Jaya" Center Provides Community-Based ATENSI Assistance
MAJALENGKA
(19 June 2021) - The Ministry of
Social Affairs through "Mulya Jaya" Training Center in Jakarta
provides community-based Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) services in
collaboration with the Social Welfare Institution (LKS) in Majalengka Regency.
This service is provided to 27 Beneficiaries (PM), including women as the victims
of human trafficking and violence.
Head of Mulya Jaya, Ai Herliyah explained that
this is a form of responsibility of the Ministry of Social Affairs through
"Mulya Jaya" for every social problem that occurs in the community
and with the hope of helping PMs in increasing independence both economically
and socially.
"We continue to make maximum efforts to
provide social rehabilitation assistance services to PMs. One of them is
through community-based ATENSI services. We have also collaborated with LKS as
our partners to provide direct assistance in the regions. This is a form of
responsibility of the Ministry of Social Affairs through Mulya Jaya Center in
responding to various social problems that occur in the community to be able to make PM economically and socially independent," explained
Ai.
On Friday (18/6), "Mulya Jaya"
carried out monitoring and evaluation of 27 PMs who had received ATENSI
assistance following the results of the assessment and proposals
submitted previously. The amount of assistance received varied, ranging from
less than Rp. 2.4 million or more. This is adjusted to the needs of each PM to
take advantage of the assistance as capital or business development.
"Mulya Jaya" team visited the PM's residence, who is currently using the aid to run his business. Adah Holidah, who is a food vendor with a variety of side dishes and Endang as a maker of cassava opak was greatly helped by the ATENSI assistance from "Mulya Jaya".
"I'm very happy to get this assistance, ma'am, because I can open a business at home independently and while taking care of children. Thank you very much to the Minister of Social Affairs for providing this assistance through the team from Mulya Jaya", said Adah.
Similarly, Endang is very grateful because her business as a maker of cassava opak slowly continues to show progress.
"I am grateful, Sir, especially now that everything is difficult due to Covid-19, but thank God I got this help so I can continue to make opak. At least I can increase my daily income for living expenses with my family," said Endang quietly.
Head of LKS Mawar Persada, Majalengka Regency, Eva Siti Arofah hopes that the collaboration with "Mulya Jaya" can continue to be well established.
