SIGI (September 21th 2020) - During the COVID-19 pandemic, all employees of the Ministry of Social Affairs are required to maintain their performance and provide better public services to the community. However, to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the office environment and in the community as program beneficiaries, the Ministry of Social Affairs has scheduled a COVID-19 examination through the Rapid Test and Swab Test/PCR method periodically, at least once a month.
All State Civil Apparatus (ASN) and non-civil servant government employees (PPNPN) both at the Head Office and in technical implementing units at Social Rehabilitation Center in the Region are required to attend periodic inspections.
In response to this, the Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Intellectual Disabilities (BRSPDI) "Nipotowe" Palu, which is a technical implementation unit (UPT) of the Ministry of Social Affairs, which focuses on dealing with people with intellectual disabilities in Eastern Indonesia, conducted a more massive examination for all employees and PPNPN through Rapid Test today, Monday (21/092019) at the Palu "Nipotowe" Centerl. This is the second time that the Rapid Test has been carried out since August 2020, in collaboration with the Biromaru Health Center, Sigi Regency.
"Currently, the number of people infected with the Corona virus (COVID-19) in Indonesia is increasing. So make sure we keep following the health protocols. All employees are required to take the COVID-19 Rapid Test which is scheduled to be carried out every month,” explained Aladin, Head of the Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Intellectual Disabilities (BRSPDI) "Nipotowe" Palu.
"The COVID-19 Rapid Test will not only protect employees, but also the people who receive social welfare services at Center. If the test results are reactive, the Swab Test / PCR will be continued or if deemed necessary, a Swab Test / PCR can be carried out immediately as needed," added Aladin.
The results of the COVID-19 Rapid Test examination today (21/09/2020) conducted by the health team from the Biromaru Health Center on 56 employees and PPNPN in the BRSPDI "Nipotowe" Palu environment, were declared non-reactive. "All employees and PPNPN are expected to continue to follow health protocols and avoid crowds, including in the office environment," said Aladin.
Until now, all employees and PPNPN in the BRSPDI "Nipotowe" Palu environment have been declared non-reactive and no one has been exposed to the corona virus.
