PALU (14 July 2021) – The Residential-Based
ATENSI (Social Rehabilitation Assistance) Program of "Nipotowe" Social
Rehabilitation Center of Palu has served 46 people with disabilities. Until now
as many as 10 people are still participating in the activities in the Center.
Beneficiaries (PM) who
have completed services at the Center receive various kinds of assistance in
improving their social functioning. In addition to business capital assistance,
the Center also facilitates PMs who do not yet have a residence document to
obtain an electronic identity card (e-KTP).
Following the
Minister of Social Affairs Regulation Number 16 of 2020 on ATENSI, the
Government must provide support for meeting basic needs, one of which is
identity.
"Nipotowe"
Center of Palu provides assistance to PMs who do not yet have an e-KTP. A total
of two PMs from Palu City and five PMs from Sigi Regency were accompanied to
arrange e-KTP.
Ownership of an e-KTP is
very important to access all services from the Government. In disbursing ATENSI
assistance distributed through Bank Mandiri, PM must have an e-KTP to
open a bank account.
"We are trying to
make all PMs have an e-KTP and be registered in the DTKS (Social Welfare
Integrated Data)," said Head of the "Nipotowe" Center Syaiful
Samad.
PMs who receive services
from the Center must be registered with the DTKS. Therefore, all PMs must have
complete residence documents including e-KTP.
