No Doubt, Persons with Intellectual Disabilities Can Make "Eco Printing" After Two Months Training at the Social Rehabilitation Center
SIGI (14 April 2021) - “My name is Fitriani.
I made eco printing with my friends. This is the result, ”said Fitriani, a
person with intellectual disability, who is also a beneficiary at the“ Nipotowe
”Center for Disabilities in Palu, one of the Ministry of Social Affairs'
Technical Implementation Units.
Since February 2021,
Fitriani has been listed as a beneficiary after going through an assessment
process and has been declared to have received Residential-based Attention
services. Fitriani participated in a series of therapy activities organized by
the Palu "Nipotowe" Disability Center to increase the independence of
intellectual disabilities.
"I am happy to make
this eco printing, happy and exciting," said Fitiriani, smiling proudly
and happily seeing the eco-printing work that had just been made. She and her
friends studied and made eco-printing together, under the guidance of
instructors and assistance from social workers.
Not to forget, she advised, "Don't forget to buy these eco-printing products", so that they will be more enthusiastic about working and financially independent.
