"Pangurangi" Center Accompanies Beneficiaries in 4 Regencies/Cities
TAKALAR
(29 June 2021) - The Pangurangi
Takalar Center as a Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Ministry of
Social Affairs assisted 14 beneficiaries of the Residential-based
ATENSI program in Bone Regency, Pare-Pare City, Sidrap Regency, and Makassar
City.
The head of the Pangurangi Center, Pengalamen
Surbakti said that this assistance was carried out by Social Welfare Workers at
the Takalar Center aimed at knowing the socio-economic conditions of the
beneficiaries directly.
"There are 14 beneficiaries who are
divided into several regencies/cities. They have been provided with the help of
business equipment, namely sewing machines and sewing materials, stoves and
cooking utensils, cameras, and photo processing design training," said Pengalamen.
One of the beneficiaries from Bone Rixxx District
said that she would use the sewing equipment she received to produce masks, she
also conveyed and advised friends who had received the ATENSI program from the
Ministry of Social Affairs to use the equipment and prove to their families and
communities that they too can change and empower in society.
