TAKALAR (29 June 2021) - The Pangurangi Takalar Center as a Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Ministry of Social Affairs assisted 14 beneficiaries of the Residential-based ATENSI program in Bone Regency, Pare-Pare City, Sidrap Regency, and Makassar City.

The head of the Pangurangi Center, Pengalamen Surbakti said that this assistance was carried out by Social Welfare Workers at the Takalar Center aimed at knowing the socio-economic conditions of the beneficiaries directly.

"There are 14 beneficiaries who are divided into several regencies/cities. They have been provided with the help of business equipment, namely sewing machines and sewing materials, stoves and cooking utensils, cameras, and photo processing design training," said Pengalamen.

One of the beneficiaries from Bone Rixxx District said that she would use the sewing equipment she received to produce masks, she also conveyed and advised friends who had received the ATENSI program from the Ministry of Social Affairs to use the equipment and prove to their families and communities that they too can change and empower in society.

Separately, the Head of the Social Rehabilitation Subsection of the Pangurangi Center, Andi Arwijaya said that he would always monitor the beneficiaries who had received the ATENSI program, "if it turns out that the beneficiaries still need assistance to develop their business, why not if we help them again," concluded Arwijaya.
