"Paramita" Children Center Cakes are in Demand During Ramadan
MATARAM (April 28, 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through the "Paramita" Children's Center in Mataram continues to try various productive economic businesses such as the pastry business. This was done as part of Balai's efforts to provide vocational therapy to Beneficiaries (PM) so that they have post-social rehabilitation skills.
I Ketut Supena, Head of the Center said, "The Social Rehabilitation Assistance Program (ATENSI) aims not only to change the behavior of our children but more importantly later they can be economically independent, so the Atensi impact changes behavior in a positive direction and is economically independent. On this occasion, we are using the moment of the Holy Month of Ramadan to provide pastries that the community needs."
As we know, the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Tri Rismaharini, always directs the Offices within the Ministry of Social Affairs to always find innovations that can stimulate children to be independent. Risma also wants the Center to always be a place for children to develop their creativity and talents in areas that children are interested in.
Therefore the PM at the "Paramita" Children's Center processes the dough to make several variants of pastries, including Putri Salju, Strawberry Nastar, and its superior product, namely Choco Chips Cookies.
Putri (not her real name), said "We are very happy to be able to make pastries accompanied by our Social Worker. We are now able to process and vary the shape and composition of the ingredients according to our abilities and we are also taught how to sell them and many have been selling them".
