WEST LOMBOK (25 August 2020) - Paramita Children's Center which is the Technical Implementation Unit of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia held a Day with Children (SBA) in the context of National Children's Day 2020 and the commemoration of the 75th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia with the theme Protected Children, Advanced Indonesia.

The event was attended by 50 invited guests consisting of officials from the NTB Provincial Social Service, Mataram City Social Service, District Social Service. West Lombok and several office partners such as the NTB Provincial Child Protection Agency (LPA), LombokCare Foundation as well as children from beneficiaries in the hall and various schools from kindergarten to high school level were lively and still prioritized health protocols.

I Ketut Supena as the head of the Social Rehabilitation Center expressed his gratitude to the Provincial and Regency Social Services and Centers work partners who were present. On this occasion Supena said that the Social Rehabilitation Assistance Program (ATENSI), Paramita Children's Center no longer works in a sectoral way in dealing with children's problems, but partnerships with other institutions are needed. Several activities have been carried out as a preventive measure against the emergence of child problems, namely social worker goes to school."

"Paramita Children's Center is responsible for providing care, family support, therapy, case response, skills training and entrepreneurship. Paramita Children's Center acts as a temporary shelter (temporary social rehabilitation place) and prioritizes family or community-based services," he added.

The SBA activity is the culmination of a whole series of National Children's Day activities organized by the Paramita Children's Center. Previously, the Paramita Children's Center conducted dissemination to 24 schools in Mataram City and West Lombok Regency, from Kindergarten to High School levels regarding the competition organized by Paramita Children's Center.

Kindergarten students are directed to take part in singing competitions, elementary students are allowed to take part in coloring competitions, while junior high school students can take part in poetry writing and reading competitions, and high school students are directed to take part in poster design competitions.

The assessment carried out is based on several criteria that have been determined by the committee and assessed directly by the jury who are competent in their fields. Considering that the COVID-19 pandemic has not ended, the scoring system is carried out online and contestants send their work via electronic messages. And the winner of the competition was announced by telephone by the committee to be invited in person and present today.

On this occasion, a free rapid antigen test was also held, the result of the collaboration between the Paramita Children's Center and the NTB Provincial Health Office. A total of 54 people who are in the yellow zone (direct contact with Beneficiaries) participated in the Rapid Test event as a form of anticipation of the Paramita Children's Center for early detection and prevention of the spread of the Corona Virus.

At the end of the session, the Head of Paramita Children's Center invited all activity participants to take pictures together while still implementing the health protocol at the latest photo spots from the use of used goods as part of the center's innovation to support the zero waste movement in the form of bottled mineral water and collaborated with natural nuances.
