People with Disabilities Compete in ASEAN Paragames 2022, Beneficiaries Come to Give Support
SEMARANG (August 3, 2022) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through the Margo Laras Center in Pati provides support for athletes with disabilities competing in the prestigious Asean Paragames 2022 centered at the Manahan Stadium, Solo, Central Java, while the swimming branch is centered at the Jatidiri Swimming Center, Semarang.
On that occasion, 22 beneficiaries and six assistant officers participated in providing support for athletes with disabilities in swimming in Semarang, Wednesday (3/8).
Athletes with disabilities in swimming have contributed three gold medals for Indonesia, this proves that disability is not an obstacle to working and achieving.
Beneficiaries are very enthusiastic, becoming an Asean Paragames supporter is the first time for the beneficiaries.
"I'm very happy to watch the swimming competition for people with disabilities, just happy, even though the road is jammed but we are excited," said Rusda, one of the beneficiaries of Margo Laras Center in Pati.
