SUKABUMI (October 16th, 2019) -"Phala Martha" Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Mental Disabilities (BRSPDM) Sukabumi conducts Outing Class activities as a form of Group Psychosocial Therapy
Followed by all the Social Welfare Services Recipient (PPKS) accompanied by social workers, psychological mentors, and students of Bandung Poltekesos practice. This activity starts from rehabilitation center and ends at Kebonrandu Dam Waterkracht which is behind the rehabilitation center building.
"Outing class is one of the implementation of the Progress of Persons with Disabilities relating to Psychosocial Therapy," said Kusman as the Coordinator of Social Worker Functional Positions of "Phala Martha" BRSPDM.
"Conducted in groups by walking to explore the environment around the rehabilitation center, this activity aims to introduce the service recipient to the community, blood circulation on foot, eliminate boredom felt by the service recipient, and get to know nature," he continued.
This activity is an
educational recreation because it introduces service recipient to be able to
see and learn about nature so that they can be more sensitive to the
environment.
