SUKABUMI (October 8, 2020) - The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, "Phala Martha" Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Mental Disabilities (BRSPDM) in Sukabumi carried out the Planning for Service Model Development in the Outreach Areas. This activity is a continuation of the coordination, mapping and analysis of service models that have been carried out at the Social Welfare Agency (LKS) of the Cianjur Regency "Penuai Indonesia" Foundation and the Bina Tauhid "Darul Miftahudin" LKS Foundation in Bogor Regency.

This activity was attended by 28 officers, including; Marzuki as Task Executor pf Head of Social Rehabilitation Division of Cianjur Regency Social Office, Lina Herlinayati as P2PTM and Keswa Head of Section in Cianjur Regency Health Office, "Penuai Indonesia" LKS Cianjur, Endih as Head of Section of Disabled Persons from Bogor RegencySocial Office, Rohjayanti as Head of Section of PTM, Health and Sports Division in Bogor Regency Health Office and officers of Bina Tauhid Foundation "Darul Miftahudin" LKS Bogor, as well as officers from "Phala Martha" Center.

This activity is intended to draft a development model for social rehabilitation services for Persons with Mental Disabilities (PDM) with the aim of formulating the names and types of activities as the implementation of family, community/LKS and residential-based Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI).

The resource persons for strengthening this activity were the Head of the "Phala Martha" Center, Neni Riawati, the Chair of the Central Indonesian Schizophrenia Care Community (KPSI), Bagus Utomo, Social Workers, and Social Counselors in Center. The materials presented were ATENSI in "Phala Martha" Center, Family and Community-Based Service Model, Mapping Results and Service Model Draft for the development of family and community-based services. In addition to these materials, observations were made of existing services at the Center to increase understanding of social rehabilitation for PDM in LKS and the community.

The methods applied in this activity are exposure, Technology of Participation, and focused discussion. The results obtained are various family and community-based ATENSI strengthening activities, proposed ATENSI program as a service brand and systematic service flow for PDM in the region to analyze the contribution of ATENSI's role in it. The results of this activity will be a recommendation to Balai and related stakeholders so that they can be implemented in activities in 2020 and 2021. The service model will be right on target if it is based on a participatory assessment of problems, needs and potentials.
