Post-Disaster Empowerment: Evacuee Story of Mount Semeru Eruption
Some time after the eruption of Mount Semeru, the needs of the displaced residents were not just a place to take shelter. Moreover, the restoration of socio-economic conditions is also needed so that they are empowered to live their days as before.
For this reason, in addition to the Evacuee Command Post and the Health Command Post, the Ministry of Social Affairs together with Tagana (Disaster Preparedness Cadets) also created an empowerment program for evacuees, namely providing skills and entrepreneurship training.
