President Joko Widodo Distributes Aid to PPKS in Bandung City
BANDUNG (August 28,
2022) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through Wyata Guna Center distributed ATENSI
Program to 6 PPKS (Social Welfare Service Recipients) in Bandung City at
Cicaheum Market Bandung in the framework of the Working Visit of the President
of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo who was accompanied by the Minister
of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Tri Rismaharini.
Also attending were the
Secretary General, the Governor of West Java, the Mayor of Bandung, the Head or
representative of Inten Soeweno Integrated Center, the Head of Wyata Guna
Center, the Head of Abiyoso Center, Market Traders, and PPKS Bandung City.
Total ATENSI program worth IDR 118,383,725,- had been distributed to
the elderly, children, and persons with disabilities. Wyata Guna Center through
ATENSI Program distributed assistance to entrepreneurship for basic food
stalls, business development of sewing clothes, peeled nuts, packages for
meeting basic needs, nutrition, cooking utensils, and Disability Aids in the
form of Prosthetic Legs, Prosthetic Hands, CP Wheelchairs, Adult Wheelchairs,
and the Adaptive Stick.
In his conversation with
reporters, President Jokowi explained the distribution of aid that had been
delivered and responded to public comments about the increase in egg prices.
