President Joko Widodo is Optimistic that the Distribution of BLT BBM will be Completed Quickly

The President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo ensured that the distribution of BBM Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) had almost reached the target. This was conveyed during his visit to Buton Island, precisely in Bau-Bau City on Tuesday morning (27/8). Secretary of the Directorate General of Social Empowerment, Beni Sujanto who was present on behalf of the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini said the distribution at three points on Buton Island was attended by 300 Family Beneficiaries who received symbolically.

"The beneficiaries were presented in Southeast Sulawesi at three location points, namely in Bau Bau City, Buton Regency, and Buton Selatan Regency are 100 people. Of the 100 people are BLT BBM, PKH and BPNT recipients," he said. The Ministry of Social Affairs in collaboration with PT. Pos Indonesia in the distribution of BLT BBM Phase I in September 2022. BLT BBM Phase II will be distributed in December 2022.

The distribution is carried out directly with a distribution scheme at the respective regional post offices and a community scheme for the 3T area. For the elderly, people with disabilities and beneficiaries who are sick, PT. Pos Indonesia delivers BLT BBM directly to each recipient's house (door to door).
