President Jokowi and Minister Risma Handover Social Assistance to the People of Serang Regency
SERANG (JUNE 17, 2022) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) together with
Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini made a working visit to distribute
Social Assistance to Beneficiaries at Baros Market, Serang Regency, Banten
Province.
The assistance provided by President Jokowi was
direct cash assistance (BLT) for cooking oil of IDR 300,000 for 539,322 people
in Banten Province. In Serang Regency, there were 67,941 beneficiaries. Working
Capital Assistance (BMK) of IDR 1.2 million. The President said the total
assistance provided was IDR 1.5 million (IDR 1.2 million is for additional
business capital and IDR 300,000 is used to buy necessities or cooking
oil). There were 539,322 people are receiving BLT for Cooking Oil in Banten Province.
In Serang Regency, there were 67,941 beneficiaries.
PKH assistance for Phase II distribution in
Banten Province was for 288,162 KPM with a total of IDR 204.486 billion. While
for Serang Regency, there were 46,198 KPM with a total of IDR 33,786 billion.
President Jokowi also said that "At this opportunity, we check the cooking
oil price. I check the price still IDR 14,000, - in several kiosks and markets
in other provinces," said Jokowi.
