Preventing the Spread of COVID-19, Resident of "Galih Pakuan" Center Joins the Vaccine Program
BOGOR (July 13, 2021) - Residents of the "Galih Pakuan" Center in Bogor took part in the vaccine program to prevent the spread of COVID-19 which was carried out by 26 people in the courtyard of the Ciseeng District Office. This activity is the realization of the implementation of the national vaccination program for community members aged 16 years and over which is implemented by the Ciseeng District Government and the Ciseeng Community Health Center.
Previously, "Galih Pakuan" Center Bogor health officers coordinated with the Ciseeng Community Health Center and Putat Nutug Village officials so that residents who were undergoing a social rehabilitation program could take part in the vaccination program. And today is the schedule for the people of Putat Nutug Village to get the vaccine. After being vaccinated, the residents received food parcels e.g. boiled eggs and milk provided by the Ciseeng District.
According to the Putat Nutug Village Secretary, Yogi Ramadhana, a resident of "Galih Pakuan" Center Bogor, has the right to take part in this vaccine program because he is currently living in the Putat Nutug Village area. "They are Indonesian citizens too, and happen to be currently in our territory, so they have the right to take part in this national program," said Yogi.
This activity is the first vaccine activity received by the residents of "Galih Pakuan" Center Bogor, and for the second vaccination program, the Center officers will coordinate again with Putat Nutug Village officials, because of the schedule set by the Ciseeng District for the vaccine program for residents of "Galih Pakuan" Center Bogor follow the Putat Nutug Village schedule according to the area where the Center is located.
