Protection of Jambi Children from Drug and Pornography
SUNGAI PENUH (October 8th, 2019) - Head of “Alyatama” Child Social Rehabilitation Center that Needs Special Protection (BRSAMPK) Jambi Imron Rosadi fulfilled the invitation of the Jambi Governor in commemoration of 2019 Jambi National Children's Day at Merdeka Square, Sungai Penuh City. The series of activities consisted of Community Service Month Mutual Cooperation XVI (BBGRM) and 21th Appropriate Technology (TTG).
The activity was attended by Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) in Sungai Penuh City, Mayor, Regent / Vice Regent in Jambi Province, Head of the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in Jambi Province.
In this activity, the Jambi Governor, represented by the Development Expert Staff emphasized the importance and strategy of protecting children in the country, society and family. Beside that, the Government of Jambi remains committed to fulfilling children's rights for education, and accessibility of children with disabilities. Therefore, he appreciated the protection of children from the dangers of drugs and pornography program including sexual violence such as the presence of "Alyatama" BRSAMPK Jambi that has a social rehabilitation program for AMPK.
In the future, the rehabilitation center will work together with stakeholders and the Jambi Province OPD, especially with P2TP2A Sercive and P3APM Jambi.
