Psychosocial Support for the Families of KRI Nanggala 402 Victims in Sidoarjo
SIDOARJO (April 26, 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through the "Kartini" Center for Disabilities Temanggung provides Psychosocial Support Services (LDP) for the families of the KRI Nanggala 402 crew. and gave full attention to LDP activities for the crew of the KRI Nanggala 402.
As is well known, KRI Nanggala 402 lost contact during a torpedo firing exercise on Wednesday (21/4) in the morning. The focus of the search location for KRI Nanggala 402 is in the sea north of Bali. The reason is that at that location an oil spill and a large magnetic force were found which were allegedly sourced from KRI Nanggala 402.
The team led directly by the Head of the Center for Disability "Kartini" Temanggung (Juena Br Sitepu) visited three families who live in Sidoarjo, namely Lettu (P) Muhadi (49 years), Letda Laut (T) Rhesatri Sigar (28 years) and Major Sea (F) Eko Firmanto (36 years).
Head of the Temanggung "Kartini" Center, Juena Br Sitepu, said that the LDP team, to stay in touch, conveyed their sorrow, empathy, support, and prayers for the families of the KRI Nanggala 402 crew. ," Juena added.
The Late Muhadi has served on the Nanggala 402 submarine since 1997, leaving behind his wife and two children. Salsabil's first child (23 years), just graduated D3 Accounting in November 2020. Currently, Salsabil is not working and hopes to get a job soon, while his younger brother Naufal (20 years) is currently studying in his second semester in Malang. Muhadi's wife seemed steadfast and willing to accept her husband's departure.
The Late Rheza left a wife whom he just married 1 year and 5 months ago. Currently, they are doing a pregnancy program. His wife was devastated by this incident. For three days she could not sleep hoping that by some miracle her husband would be saved.
Rheza's family is a TNI family, his father is a TNI army who died in a plane crash in East Timor when Rheza was 2 years old, while Rheza's parents-in-law are members of the Indonesian Navy who are currently serving in Jakarta. Rheza's mother-in-law said that previously the deceased often took his wife to watch movies about submarines so that his wife would be ready if something happened to him.
While the late Eko leaves behind his wife (Ekhan, 32 years) and 2 children. His wife is currently working as an honorary dentist at the public health center. His first child, M. Rafasha (7 years), and his second child Maharani Zivana (6 years). Ekhan looked very sad when she told about the figure of her husband. The late Eko was a kind, diligent and pious person. The family feels the loss of the deceased, especially now that his wife is still on an honorary basis after working at the public health center for 7 years. His mother hoped that Ekhan would be accepted as a civil servant so that his grandson could continue his studies up to university.
