GOWA (October 1, 2020) - Gowa's "Gau Mabaji" Elderly Center as one of the Technical Implementation Units (UPT) of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs in the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation was entrusted with the mandate to pilot the implementation of the Social Rehabilitation Service Center (SERASI).

In addition to services for the elderly, the development of SERASI is also to expand the range of services for the five clusters of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, namely Children, Persons with Disabilities, Victims of Drug Abuse, as well as Persons with Social Deviance Issues  and Victims of Trafficking in Persons.

Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI).

One of the efforts to prepare the hall for the implementation of SERASI is to build a wider network. On this occasion, the Gowa "Gau Mabaji" Elderly Center strengthens its network with the Makassar II State Treasury Service Office (KPPN).

In receiving the Makassar KPPN team, the Head of the Gowa “Gau Mabaji” Elderly Center, Syam Wuryani, greatly appreciated the visit of the Makassar II KPPN Head and expressed her gratitude for helping the smooth implementation of the Balai program budget disbursement.

"We appreciate the visit of the Head of the Makassar II KPPN in providing support and assistance in the budget disbursement process, especially the Social Assistance for the Elderly Social Rehabilitation Program during the Covid-19 pandemic," said Yani.

KPPN Makassar II visited the Gowa “Gau Mabaji” Elderly Center, which is one of the work units (satker) under its working area. During the collaboration with KPPN Makassar II during the COVID-19 pandemic, many conveniences were obtained because the budget disbursement process had used an online application.

Some activities are more efficient and effective, such as consultations that can be carried out through the Yuskanov19 application, submission of Payment Orders (SPM) via e-SPM, submission of Payment Termination Certificate (SKPP) through SKPP escort innovation, submission of account balance reports, Minutes of Reconciliation (BAR) ) account, and the tax confirmation is uploaded through the Makassar II KPPN portal.

During his visit, the Head of KPPN, Adi Setiawan, said that his visit was carried out in the context of Budget Evaluation and Implementation.

"We made a visit to the Gowa "Gau Mabaji" Elderly Center in order to carry out Monitoring and Evaluation of Budget Implementation Performance," said Adi.

KPPN Makassar II also appreciates the achievement of the Balai's budget realization which is quite high among other work units.

"We see that the realization of the budget here is already high and good, it only needs to be increased in reporting the achievement of activity outputs," he added.

In addition to discussions on evaluating the performance of budget implementation, the KPPN Makssar II team also had the opportunity to see the environment around the Center and observe buildings that are currently in the process of being renovated.

At the end of the activity, the Makassar II KPPN team expressed their support for all programs to be implemented by the Gowa "Gau Mabaji" Elderly Center.
