Santiaji Ceremony Commemorating TAGANA's 19th Anniversary

DHARMASRAYA (May 28, 2023) - The Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini led the Santi Aji Ceremony for the 19th Anniversary of the Anniversary of Disaster Voluntary Workers (TAGANA) which was held at the Courtyard of the Dharmasraya Regent's Office. Minister of Social Affairs Risma led the Santi Aji ceremony by lighting a bonfire.

This year's theme is "Brave Tagana for Community Resilience in Disaster Management". This 19th Tagana Anniversary activity can be a real gait event for Tagana representatives from all Provinces in Indonesia with other Stakeholders from government and non-government elements in synergy in disaster management

TAGANA is one of the potential sources of social welfare whose contribution is greatly felt in handling social welfare problems, especially in the context of disaster management. Since its formation in 2004, TAGANA has continued to experience development and is always at the forefront of providing services for disaster-affected communities.

At present all TAGANA in Indonesia, both in the province and district/city, are carrying out TAGANA's anniversary commemoration which is filled with their respective activities by focusing on TAGANA's real work by strengthening disaster mitigation as a form of the TAGANA Service Month Series.

In this activity, the Minister of Social Affairs was accompanied by Member of Commission VIII DPR RI Delmeria Sikumbang, Governor of West Sumatra Mahyeldi Ansyarullah, Regent of Dharmasraya Sutan Riska Tuanku Kingdom, Acting Head of Secretary General of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs Robben Rico, Special Advisor for the Minister of Social Affairs (SKM) of the Communication and Mass Media Don Rozano Sigit Prakoeswa, SKM of the Foreign Institution Relations and Partnership Faozan Amar, SKM of the Ministry of Human Resources and Program Development Suhadi Lili, Expert Staff of the Minister for Social Welfare Technology Asep Sasa Purnama, Expert Staff of the Minister for Social Accessibility Dadang Iskandar and Echelon 2 Officials within the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs.
