BATURRADEN (27 July 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through the Baturraden "Satria" Center conducted a quick response to the "Rumah Terang" Rehabilitation Center in Purbalingga.

Following up on a letter requesting assistance for medical examinations for beneficiaries from the “Rumah Terang” Purbalingga Rehabilitation Center to the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia on July 5, 2021, “Satria” Baturraden swiftly responded to the letter by launching a team to follow up.

Starting with an initial assessment activity carried out directly by the head of the Center and team on July 20, 2021, where the team received initial information regarding the substance of the problems faced, several aspects of social rehabilitation and health aspects of beneficiaries were explored to obtain available service sources.

On July 23, 2021 "Satria" Baturraden Center again deployed a follow-up tracing team from social workers and health to obtain in-depth information from the results of the initial assessment. Since the establishment of "Rumah Terang" Rehabilitation Center on January 27, 2004, there have been many Social Welfare Service Recipients (PPKS), both people with mental disorders and drug abuse, who have been cured so that they can act like humans in general.

Currently, the number of beneficiaries who are being treated at the “Rumah Terang” Rehabilitation Center is 65 people, consisting of 35 men and 30 women. Of this number, 60 people with ODGJ and 4 others are victims of drug abuse. The orphanage is located on Jl. Captain Sarengaat No. 20 B District. Purbalingga wetan Purbalingga Regency 53317 stands on a land area of ​​603 m2. It was established on January 27, 2004, with Notary deed No. 4 dated November 21, 2012, No. SIOP 723/ORSOS/2013/2016, the status of land ownership is the parental loan (borrow belonging to parents).

Currently, "Rumah Terang" Rehabilitation Center is chaired by Dedy Susanto as well as the manager and Cahyadi as a member has not been registered with the Social Welfare Institution at the Ministry of Social Affairs, from the results of the tracking activity, initial information was obtained regarding services at the "Rumah Terang" orphanage where the problem is more with health services.

Coordination with the Purbalingga Social Service and Purbalingga Health Office is carried out concerning the follow-up plan for the problem because the direction of the problem is more towards health services, but the Baturraden "Satria" Center will continue to follow up also related to social rehabilitation services, while still coordinating with the Purbalingga Social Service and the Local Health Office.
