Seeing the Condition of Semeru Peak after the Eruption from the Village Closest to the Peak

At the end of 2021, the Public Relations team of the Directorate General of Social Protection and Security had the opportunity to see firsthand the current condition of settlements around Mount Semeru after the eruption and the impact caused by the eruption of Mount Semeru which occurred in early December. The damage to people's houses and the breaking of the connecting bridge between Candipuro and Pronojiwo sub-districts are two real things. This is proof that behind the beauty of the charm of Mount Semeru, it still has the potential for disaster.
