Series of HKSN 2021, MOSA Involves Community and Social Pillars in Holding a Community Service
PANGKAL PINANG (16 December
2021) –
Ministry of Social Affairs conducted a series of activities ahead of the 2021
National Social Solidarity Day (HKSN) in the West Bangka Islands, Bangka
Belitung Province.
Today, the Ministry of
Social Affairs held a community service activity at the construction site for
Uninhabitable Houses (Rutilahu) in the Province of Bangka Belitung. The
location for the construction of Rutilahu is in West Bangka Regency and South
Bangka Regency. There were 25 units in West Bangka Regency and 25
units in South Bangka Regency. In total, there were 50 units for the
two locations.
Community service in the
Rutilahu development environment involves 11 Regional Apparatus Organizations
(OPD), social pillars, Scouts, community leaders and other general public in
Pangkal Pinang, West Bangka Regency.
"Today, we are making
improvements around the Rutilahu construction site. We
have removed the debris and trimmed the trees from twigs to
make them cleaner and better organized," said Head of the West Bangka
Regency Village and Social Empowerment Office, Suradi, Thursday (16/12).
Community service
activities were also held at the location of the exile of the Indonesian
Proclaimer, Bung Karno, in Bukit Menumbing by cleaning up the historic
buildings in the complex area.
"The community service
was carried out in Bung Karno's exile in the form of removing grass and tree
branches as well as painting the complex area to make it more beautiful and
neater," said Suradi.
In addition, access to the
location of Rutilahu's activities also continues to be tidied and cleaned as
well as the tents and decorations in the main road area in front of the Bangka
Regent's office house.
“Essentially we are making
maximum efforts to involve social pillars and all existing potentials. This is
to ensure that later the peak of the event will be comfortable," he said.
The Rutilahu program was
previously proposed to the Ministry of Social Affairs for eligible communities.
Today development is being carried out by cooperating with all the potential
resources that exist in the community.
As a manifestation of the
spirit of HKSN in 2021, previously a Cross-Border Social Solidarity (LBKS) was
held at the Air Anyir Village Office, Merawang District and Al Kautsar Social
Welfare Institution, Sungailiat District, Bangka Regency which was attended by
the Deputy Governor of the Bangka Belitung Province and the Head of the Bangka
Belitung Province Social Office.
In the series HKSN in 2021,
there were various activities in the form of handing over social assistance,
First, the provision of civil rights such as marriage certificates and birth
certificates, as well as mass marriages for residents in the Bangka Belitung
Islands.
Second, vaccination in the
context of preventing Covid-19; Third, free health services in the form of
treatment and medical assistance for 1000 people.
Fourth, the provision of
assistance such as Rutilahu, the Social Entrepreneurship Program (ProKUS),
Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI), Assistance for Orphans Victims of
Covid-19 and scholarships.
Fifth, mobilizing Community
Social Participation in the cleanliness of public facilities. Sixth, hygiene
campaigns in the student and student environment; Seventh, planting trees in
ex-tin mining areas.
