Social Affairs Minister Gives Compensation to Families of Victims of the Kanjuruhan Incident in Tulungagung and Blitar

Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini again greeted the families and heirs of the victims who died in the Kanjuruhan Malang incident. This weekend, the Minister of Social Affairs handed over compensation to the heirs and injured victims in the cities of Tulungagung and Blitar.

Today at the Ngantru District Office, Tulungagung, compensation was handed over to 6 heirs who lost their family members. Compensation was also given to two people who suffered injuries.

The Minister of Social Affairs and her entourage also moved to meet the two wives of members of the Tulungagung Police, whose husbands died in the same incident. The Minister of Social Affairs conveyed her condolences and sympathy specifically to the leaders and members of the Tulungagung Police, as well as the big family of the Police.

Then the Minister of Social Affairs headed to Blitar for the same purpose. Namely handing over compensation for five heirs whose families died and sevem people were injured.

To the families of the victims, the Minister of Social Affairs conveyed his condolences and prayed for them to be patient in accepting the ordeal.

The Minister of Social Affairs stated that compensation for the heirs of the deceased was IDR15 million/person, and IDR2 million for the injured.
