SURABAYA (October 11, 2024) - The Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs, Saifullah Yusuf, has strengthened his determination to find a way out of a number of problems that occur in orphanages. For this reason, on Friday morning (11/110), he took the initiative to hold a national "deliberation" with all stakeholders from all over Indonesia, discussing the problem that often becomes a national issue.

The national "deliberation" itself is a follow-up by the Minister to efforts to prevent cases of sexual violence against children. For example, the rape case that befell children at the Darussalam An-Nur orphanage in Tangerang which was reviewed directly by the Minister on (8/10/2024).
