Social Affairs Minister Risma Reviews Flash Floods in Bogor

The Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini accompanied by Tasks Executor of Social Protection for Natural Disaster Victims (PSKBA) Director Iyan Kusmadiyana visits the location of a flash flood in Bogor, West Java, Friday night (24/6). In coordination with the local Regional Board for Disaster Management (BPBD), Social Affairs Minister Risma directed him to evaluate the condition of the area affected by the flash flood before making the next decision. In addition, direct psychological support services are provided to treat the trauma experienced by evacuees.

"We prioritize first aid and psychological assistance for affected residents," said Risma.
