JAKARTA (19 May 2020) - Handover of 28 packages of basic food, medical equipment and masks in the context of handling and preventing COVID-19, totaling 28 packages for Tagana and South Jakarta Regional Shelter officers.
Present at the handover of assistance was the Director of Social Rehabilitation for Persons with Disabilities Eva Rahmi Kasim, Head of Social Office South Jakarta Bpk Jappar, Head of Social Rehabilitation Division of the DKI Jakarta Province Social Office Mr. Prayitno, the Tagana Team, P3S Sudinsos South Jakarta Assistance for Persons with Disabilities and the Dit RSPD Team.
Submission of social assistance and medical devices as a form of appreciation and attention from the Ministry of Social Affairs to those who from the beginning carried out their duties in South Jakarta Sport Hall. The basic food assistance services originate from Himbara, including Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) and Bank Mandiri which have contributed to the handling of the impact of COVID-19.
On that occasion, the Director of RSPD, Eva, expressed her gratitude to Tagana and the implementing officers who participated in the service at the South Jakarta Sports Hall. Also conveyed the need for central and regional synergy to overcome the problems of those affected by COVID-19.
Daily meals for displaced people at PTWC Sport Hall are prepared by Tagana, South Jakarta. They prepare their meals by cooking at the Tagana Public Kitchen in South Jakarta and deliver them to Sport Hall Pasar Minggu.
"At least cook for 30 portions of food, each for sahur and breaking the fast. For those who are not fasting, they are still given food," said Fathul, Chairman of Tagana, South Jakarta.
Apart from Tagana, social assistance for basic necessities and medical devices was also provided to assistants and janitors and P3S.
