Social Assistance for Victims of the Sigi Humanitarian Tragedy

The Central Government through the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs distributed social assistance for the humanitarian tragedy that occurred in Lembantongoa Village, Palolo District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. Aid worth IDR 458,426,000, - was symbolically handed over by the Director of Social Protection for Social Disaster Victims of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Sunarti.

The assistance provided included the heirs' compensation for 4 dead victims, food packages, children's play equipment packages, children's study packages, hand sanitizers, masks, soap and religious equipment packages.

In addition to the symbolic handover of social assistance, the Ministry of Social Affairs also provided Psychosocial Support Services for survivors who survived the human tragedy, namely by implementing the Progressive Muscular Relaxation (PMR) technique. This is done to make the survivor feel calm so that his mind can be refreshed again.
