Social Minister Risma Gives Compensation to Family of KKB Victims and Aid of ATENSI for Persons with Disabilities

PALEMBANG (11 May 2021) - Social Minister Tri Rismaharini provides compensation and assistance to the family of one of the victims of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Papua from East Ogan Kemering Ulu (OKU) with a total value of Rp115 million and gives the highest appreciation to Bharatu (Posthumous) I Komang Wira Natha for his dedication in Puncak Regency, Papua Province.

 

Tri Rismaharini expressed her condolences to the families of KKB victims, "For this tragedy, we also feel the deep sorrow and concern that the families left behind," said Risma.

 

In addition, the Minister of Social Affairs also provided ATENSI assistance to persons with physical disabilities, namely assistance to develop productive economic businesses worth Rp 2.4 million, wheelchair aids, and Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO) tools. The ATENSI package that is given is expected to increase the passion and quality of life of persons with physical disabilities.

 

Taking place at the Graha Bina Daksa Hall, “Budi Perkasa” Center, the activity was attended by Echelon I and II ranks as well as special advisors to the Minister of Social Affairs, the Governor of South Sumatra, the Regent of East OKU, the Mayor of Palembang and local officials, and the Social Service of South Sumatra Province.

 

The activity continued with a review of Social Minister Risma with the Director General of Social Rehabilitation Harry Hikmat at Budi Perkasa Center. The Minister of Social Affairs instructed the Head of the Regional Office to be able to utilize land and maximize water retention and improve facilities and infrastructure to support more optimal services for persons with disabilities.
