Social Minister Witnesses Cash Distribution Social Aids for 7,300 Households in South Tambun District

The Minister of Social Affairs Juliari P. Batubara checks the readiness of distributing cash social assistance (BST) in Sumber Jaya Village, Tambun Selatan District, Bekasi Regency. Here, 7,300 households (KK) are registered as recipients of BST, one of the most populous sub-districts in Bekasi.

In one or two days, the distribution of BST in South Tambun Subdistrict will be completed for phase I, and in this week Phase I for Bekasi Regency will be completed. So next week, it is hoped that Phase II distribution can begin.

"I went to Bekasi twice. At first I was a little worried because of the dense population in Bekasi. This sub-district is one of the most densely populated villages. But I see it is quite fast in BST distribution. If Phase I can be completed, Phase II will begin next week,” said Social Minister Juliari (27/05).
