Social Restoration is an effort to restore noble values that are starting to fade. The Social Restoration Campaign is needed to mobilize community-based social movements in dealing with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Located at the Royal Hotel, Bogor, West Java, the Directorate of Heroism, Pioneering, Solidarity and Social Restoration organized Social Restoration activities. The activity was attended by 100 participants, who were representatives of social solidarity partners consisting of social pillars, such as TKSK, PSM and Youth Organization in the city of Bogor.
Activities are carried out while adhering to health protocol rules and regulations. Before starting the activity, all participants took the rapid test with all negative results.
Director General of Social Empowerment, Edi Suharto, opened the activities virtually. Edi Suharto advised that social pillars are at the forefront of handling COVID-19. So they must continue to increase their understanding of the value of social restoration.
The delivery of material was carried out in a panel with resource persons, namely the Minister's Expert Staff for Social Accessibility, Sonny W. Manalu, the Minister's Technical Team for Social Empowerment, Restu Hapsari and Indonesian Historian, Asep Hambali. The material presented was related to the social campaign for handling COVID-19 and the mobilization of community movements from a historical point of view.
