Solemn Atmosphere, President of the Republic of Indonesia Leads AKRS

JAKARTA (17 Agustus 2020) - President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo and Indonesian Vice President KH Ma'ruf Amin accompanied by the Minister of Social Affairs Juliari P Batubara attended the Tribute Ceremony and Sacred Devotionals (AKRS) at Kalibata National Heroes Main Cemetery in Jakarta. AKRS was held on 17 August 2020 at 00.00 WIB in the morning.

President Joko Widodo arrived at around 23.30 WIB, Sunday (16/08/2020). On arrival at the location, President Joko Widodo entered the main gate of the Kalibata Main TMPN.

AKRS was carried out in order to celebrate the 75th Independence day of Indonesia's followed by State Officials / at the same level, including Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Coordinating Minister for PMK, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Minister of Social Affairs, Minister of Religion Affairs, Secretariat State Minister, Secretariat Cabinet Minister, Presidential Chief Staff, Chief of Police, Commander of TNI, Presidential Military Secretary, Head of the Presidential Secretariat, the I / Jakarta Permanent Garrison Command, and several officials at the Ministerial level, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Director General of Social Empowerment, Director of Heroism, Pioneering, Solidarity and Social Restoration.

In this activity, President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, as the inspector of the ceremony, led a tribute to the spirit of the hero who died to defend and defend the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, followed by reading the AKRS manuscript and holding silent prayers and prayers.

Unknown heroes 43 heroes, 10,102 heroes "said Joko Widodo in his speech.

Likewise the hero who is not known by name and place, in the cities, in the hamlets, on the slopes of the mountains, in the valleys of the canyons, and at the bottom of the sea. We express our utmost respect for the willingness, sincerity, holiness of the sacrifice of heroes for the happiness of the country and the nation, we swear and promise that the struggle of heroes is our struggle as well and the path of happiness. During the ceremony, the lights around Kalibata Main TMPN were turned off. The atmosphere of silence was present when the torch was lit at the Plaza for the TMPN ceremony to add to the solemn atmosphere of respect and to commemorate the services of the heroes who had fallen for the sake of the State and nation.

AKRS which is being held this year is a series of events commemorating the anniversary of the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia which will be held at the independent palace in the morning.

This year, the 75th Indonesian Independence Day takes the theme 'Advanced Indonesia' which is a representation of Pancasila as a guide the life of the nation and state and has relevance to the goals of infrastructure development, human resource development, job creation, and empowerment of micro, Small, and Medium enterprises.
