JAKARTA (December 5, 2020) - The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs through the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation organizes the Guidance and Maturity of the Government Internal Control System (SPIP) for the Head Office and the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) for Jakarta and Bekasi area within the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation to anticipate potential risks or problems appears in the implementation of programs and activities of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation.
Secretary of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, Idit Supriadi Priatna said that the COVID-19 pandemic had a major impact on all people's lives, including the direction of activities and budgets in each satker in dealing with the pandemic. This requires a more in-depth risk assessment in order to reduce or even eliminate the risks that may occur.
According to Idit, the focus of attention in SPIP's risk assessment is currently related to the Social Rehabilitation Assistance Program (ATENSI), handling COVID-19, Social Rehabilitation Assistant, and Main and Virtual Accounts. "In the discussion, identify the problems or risks that exist and find solutions to these problems," said Idit.
According to Idit SPIP, it must be applied as a control culture that is part of the work culture of the organization and to provide adequate confidence in the achievement of organizational goals. The success of SPIP implementation lies in the tone at the top, requires commitment and role model at all levels of management.
“The main factor for SPIP to be able to run is the example of leadership elements or structural officials in our respective work environments. In stages, they must set an example for their staff, from simple things to complex things,” said Idit.

Regarding the realization of the budget, make sure that the evidence of financial accountability is complete, coordinate with the financial managers in the Work Unit," said the Inspector General of the Ministry of Social Affairs.
The Inspector General also reminded that in the fourth quarter of this year, so that the completion of financial administration can be completed even though the employees are working from home (WFH), the Work Unit pays attention to the governance of State Property (BMN)/assets including procurement, controlling financial and asset accountability and avoiding minus ceilings in order to preparation of financial reporting at the end of the 2020 fiscal year.

This activity was held from 3 to 5 December 2020 at The Acacia Hotel Jakarta.
