Starting Public Communication and Data Management Coordination Meeting, Pepen Asked Social Rehabilitation Companions to Do Six Things in 2024
Bandung (January 27th,
2024) – In the recent digital era, data and information for public communication
become an unavoidable need of Ministries/Institutions by using social media.
“Data and public communication information become a need. Thus, it should be managed seriously by human resources in 31 integrated centers,” the Director General of Social Rehabilitation Pepen Nazaruddin said at The Coordination Meeting of Public Communication and Performance Data Management in Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation in Bandung on Saturday (January 27th, 2024).
Pepen said that data management flows dynamically and differently from time to time. It became a challenge for human resources to manage the data including public communication information.
“The condition when I was in Data and Information Center and Public Relation Bureau was different than recent condition which is more complex. Therefore, there are six things to do in 2024 which human resources should do in 31 centers and integrated centers,” Pepen emphasized.
First, beneficiaries’ data should be fully managed which is marked by being listed in Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS), thus intervention in the form of social assistance can be given.
“Second, there should be graduation data of beneficiaries. Ministry of Social Affairs helps them for three to four years and assists in the form of graduation. It means the beneficiaries have stopped receiving social assistance,” Pepen said.
Third, social assistance programs or interventions could be documented visually like a film, video, or profile. Visualization makes monitoring and evaluation easier.
“From the documentation result in the form of film, video, and profile, the fourth step is to input the result into the centers’ website connected to the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation,” he said.
Meanwhile, the fifth step is to display data from ATENSI Creation Center (SKA) of 31 centers and integrated centers which are well displayed and packaged, including utilizing social media.
“One thing which is also important, the sixth step is the data of three-wheeled motorcycle should be renewed. Which beneficiary is successful and who is not, considering that three-wheeled motorcycle is the most expensive assistance given to the beneficiaries,” Pepen ended.
