PEKANBARU (September 10, 2019) - The Social Rehabilitation Center for Children Needing Special Protection (BRSAMPK) Pekanbaru "Rumbai" with the Chairperson and Assistant of the Pekanbaru Sebaya Lancang Foundation, Rozi Asnita visited four children with HIV / AIDS and their families in Payung Sekaki District, Tenayan Raya, Muara Fajar Rumbai, and Tampan, Pekanbaru.

Sutiono, Head of BRSAMPK "Rumbai" Pekanbaru said, "The response of the case to children with HIV was intended to provide motivational assistance to parents and families so that as parents must remain motivated and not give up in facing this situation."

Rozi Asnita, Chairperson of the Sebaya Lancang Kuning Foundation, also encouraged parents to continue routinely providing ARV drug therapy every month. He also gave directions on the obstacles faced by parents in undergoing ARV treatment such as access to hospitals and child care at home.

In addition to providing assistance, the BRSAMPK "Rumbai" team also provided nutritional stimulant assistance to support children's nutritional development.

The response of the case to children with HIV was the initiation step of BRSAMPK "Rumbai" Pekanbaru and partner of the Sebaya Lancang Kuning Foundation for an outside service program program. In the future there will be family support activities to strengthen and motivate children with HIV parents.
