Strengthening the Function of Hall, BRSPDI “Ciungwanara” Holds Technical Guidance for Social Welfare Institutions
BOGOR (12 November 2019) - Head of the Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Intellectual Disabilities (BRSPDI) "Ciungwanara" Bogor Esa Sumantri opened and provided directions to participants of the Technical Guidance (Bimtek) Social Welfare Institution Assistance (LKS) in the BRSPDI "Ciungwanara" Bogor Meeting Room.
"This LKS Technical Guidance is implemented for the first time in 2019 as an activity to support the new Hall functions, namely the regional coordinator. I hope that the participants can maximize this activity to provide better social welfare services in their respective LKS, "said Esa.
Participants were given material on strengthening LKS, social rehabilitation programs for persons with intellectual disabilities in Hall, the role of social workers in social welfare services and field observations. This technical guidance for Social Welfare Institutions aims to improve management skills, knowledge, explore potential and strengthen cooperation networks between LKS.
This activity was attended by 10 participants from five Social Welfare Institutions (LKS) in the City and Regency of Bogor, namely the Azaki Foundation, the Lentera Asa Peduli Foundation, the Heesu "Cahaya Cinta" Foundation, the Sehat Cerdas Mandiri Foundation and the Syeh Ali Jaya Foundation.
